Today we're going to be taking a look at part number BDW15159. This is the Bulldog custom-fit steel winch mount for the Polaris Sportsman. This is a custom bracket that's going to mount your winch to the front of your ATV. This is designed to fit the Bulldog 2,000-pound to 3,500-pound winches. It is custom fabricated, steel construction winch mount for the Polaris Sportsman 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, and 800. Now with a custom-fit product, we always recommend that you double-check to see if this is a fit for your particular year and model.
You can do this by using the fit guide located right here on our website. This will mount to the front of your ATV in the bumper opening, giving it a nice, clean factory look. The roller fairlead and the winch are not included. This is going to be made from a nice, solid steel construction. It's going to have a really nice black powder coat finish on it, so it's going to stand up really well against rust and corrosion. It's going to come with a custom mount. This is going to be your main winch plate.
This is a support plate. It's got the roller fairlead attachment here at the front. Then per the instructions, depending on your model, you're going to need to use the U-shaped brackets. These are going to get attached to this portion back here. It comes with the custom mount, it's going to come with the hardware, and it's going to come with the detailed instructions.
These are going to walk you through step by step throughout the entire installation process. This side over here is for particular years and models, and then this side over here is for particular years and models, so depending on which one you have, the installation may be a little bit different, but both are included to help make that process much easier. Arrived quickly and fit PERFECTLY on my ATV. The instructions for removal of my storage rack and frame for installation were a little confusing but we did get it figured out. Not a big trick and NO modifications!
